The Aselli mansion built in the 1940’s yet elegantly furnished and fitted with today’s modern technology to make your life a breeze. ON THE FIRST FLOOR of the main mansion house, there is a stylish hall, a massive saloon with a rare and expensive fireplace dating back to 1100, a dining-hall, a parlour with a fireplace, a library, an impressive bathroom, a study room, a 30sq.m double-kitchen and a spacious hall out back. ON THE SEMI-BASEMENT FLOOR there is a gym, laundry with washer and dryer, a 200sq.m cocktail lounge bar complete with kitchen, piano / karaoke and a bathroom. ON THE 2nd FLOOR you will find the master bedroom with a large balcony overlooking the lush country garden, two ensuite travertine bathrooms both with a shower and a bath, and 4 other bedrooms, one of which is double-bedded, three travertine WC facilities which is the distinctive characteristic of the Aselli mansion house and of Rome in general. ON THE 4TH FLOOR there is a small room and a terrace. In the garden there is an elegant gazebo with a fully equipped kitchen where one can have breakfast and supper in the park for seven months of the year admiring a mild Roman climate. It also overlooks the football pitch and is surrounded by a laurel hedge fence, tropical plants, and many pine trees which have traditionally become a home for jolly green parrots.
The Aselli Mansion is built on the historic and protected national park - Parco Veio. ‘Sulla Cassia’ or ‘On the Cassia’ or actually ‘just off the Cassia’ it is just 5 minutes from the residential main street of Via Cassia which is home to many International schools, shops and supermarkets, 15kms to downtown Rome & Vatican and only 5 minutes from the highway (GRA) which links with many gateways to the sea, nearby lakes, Tuscany, Umbria and more medieval mountain towns than you can shake a stick at! At the end of the street by foot you can buy some locally grown (kilometer zero) fruit and vegetables from ‘Da Secondo’, one of the best butchers and some hidden gems of restaurants kept secret by the locals for many years. Down the road there is a also a country club where you can play tennis, paddle ball or just lounge by the huge in ground pool.
