Ora is a bar located in an antique pharmacy that dates back to 1861. Until the end of the war, it was functioning as a pharmacy when the new builders decided to transform it to a bar in May 2015. However, they kept many of the original features of the pharmacy while renovating it, you can still see the old wooden cabinets, tile floors and even the apothecary jars! It can be called Jetz as well, meaning “now” in German, however it is more preferable to call it Ora -meaning now in Italian- to evoke the location of the bar, Oranienplatz in Kreuzberg. In addition to its first-class cocktails, Ora has a delicious innovative menu from main dish to desserts!

Eschenbräu Wedding
If you’re someone that prefers to search the taste of the local beer, you should definitely try Eschenbräu! They serve a huge variety of German beers that are seasonal. Of course, if you are coming to Germany, our recommendation is Weissbier! The place can accommodate up to 150 people so it is usually crowded, however if you prefer a more silent ambiance, there is a beer garden that you can enjoy while taking a sip from your drink.
